Dwarves
Dwarves are a resilient and tradition-bound people, known for their craftsmanship, endurance, and deep connection to stone and earth. Their settlements are often carved into mountains or beneath the surface, built to last generations rather than years.
They value strength not only of body, but of will, honoring loyalty, legacy, and the preservation of what has come before. Dwarven culture places great importance on memory, with the deeds of ancestors carrying weight long after they are gone.
Culture & Society
Dwarven communities are structured, deliberate, and slow to change. Their work, whether forging, building, or defending is carried out with precision and pride.
They are not quick to trust, but once bonds are formed, they are rarely broken. To a dwarf, loyalty is not a choice, it is a responsibility.
Presence in Zerith
Dwarves have left their mark across the world, particularly in strongholds and subterranean halls built into the bones of the land itself.
Some of these places still stand.
Others, like Stonefast, have fallen, leaving behind only ruins, echoes, and the remnants of what once was.
Observations
Dwarves are defined not by what they build, but by what endures after they are gone.
Even in ruin, their presence can still be felt.
