Oozes

Oozes are slow-moving, amorphous creatures that consume anything organic, or once organic, that they encounter. Lacking intelligence and purpose beyond consumption, they drift through confined spaces, dissolving and absorbing whatever they touch.

They are most often found in dungeons and ruins, where they serve an unintentional but effective role: breaking down remains and clearing what others leave behind.

Though simple in nature, their resilience and methodical movement make them a constant hazard in enclosed environments.

Ochre Jelly

A thick, creeping mass of corrosive slime, the ochre jelly clings to surfaces and moves with unsettling persistence. It reacts to disturbance, engulfing anything that comes too close and breaking it down with acidic force.

Often encountered in dark corners or along walls, it can be easily overlooked, until it begins to move.

Gelatinous Cube

A near-perfect cube of transparent gel, this ooze glides silently through corridors, engulfing anything in its path. Within its form, partially dissolved remains are often visible, armor, bones, and other debris suspended in its mass.

In many dungeons, gelatinous cubes act as a grim form of sanitation, clearing bodies and waste as they slowly patrol enclosed spaces.
