Skeletons
Skeletons are among the most common forms of undead, created when lingering magic or necromantic force animates the remains of the dead. Though stripped of flesh and identity, they often retain echoes of what they once were.
These remnants can manifest in subtle ways, posture, movement, or even behavior, making some skeletons feel eerily familiar, as though fragments of their past lives still guide them.

Variants
Hobgoblin Skeletons
Even in death, Hobgoblins maintain their discipline. These skeletons move with unsettling precision, acting in formation and responding as though still bound to a chain of command long since broken.
Skinwalker Skeletons
Unlike cleaner remains, these skeletons still carry traces of decay. Their bones are slick with rot, and contact with them can spread a wasting affliction known as skinrot, an unnatural disease that mirrors the corruption that animates them.
