Historically known as the Pale Wake, Arduin’s Vessel, at first glance, appears to be a 60’ sailing yacht, designed for luxury sailing. Commissioned by Arduin, it was designed to be captained by her and her alone, for travelling not only this world, but the astral sea and elemental chaos. Known as the Pale wake, it is a feared vessel across the seas, said to warp around the battlefield, always bringing it’s target’s into it’s sights. Few were left alive to tell the tale. The Pale Wake would sink ships without compunction, then disappear beneath the waves. It is said the ship is powered by the soul of Arduin herself, granting it great power, but also binding her to it eternally.

The ship is clearly fueled by magic. All controls for the boat, including the sail controls, can be controlled via magic at the helm. To unlock the controls, you must be in possession of Arduin’s Token, a fist sized golden emblem of a helm wheel and compass. A competent knowledge and experience of sailing is also required to operate the sailing controls effectively.

There are two additional controls as well, one for alternative throttle, which allows for propulsion without the sails, but only at 1/2 speed compared to full sailing.

The second controls are for submersion. Provided the sails are all retracted, the controls can be engaged, the mast fold down, and the top deck seals (glass or force). The ship can then dive, and be navigated underwater. It has a maximum dive time underwater of 3 days, due to air. It takes one hour per day underwater to refresh the air reserves, though this can also be done in caves or natural air pockets underwater, provided there is enough room to surface.

Should the ship be attuned, the ship can be summoned through (interplanar) portals it can create. Should the ship be repaired, it can also be used to navigate the Astral sea.

The staterooms are magical, along with the rest of the ship.

While Arduin’s state room is hers and fits her aesthetic, each of the state rooms start as blank slates, with nothing interesting to report except a window and an empty chest.

But if a person who is granted permission to stay on the ship opens the chest it will attune the room to the person who is staying in the room, providing the occupant with a comfortable room.
