Elemental Creatures
Elemental creatures are manifestations of raw magical forces, shaped into living forms. Unlike Beasts or constructs, they are not born or built, they are formed, bound, or awakened from the elements themselves.
Their behavior varies widely. Some act as simple guardians, bound to a location or purpose. Others move with a strange, instinctive intelligence, driven by forces that are not always easily understood.
Ice Hounds
Creatures of frozen magic given form, ice hounds move with unnatural speed and precision. Their bodies are composed of hardened frost and jagged ice, reforming even as they shatter under pressure.
The party encountered a pack of these hounds within Worlds Haven, where they stood guard over the entrance to the palace. The encounter was brief, but brutal, and remains one of the more memorable clashes beneath the waves.
