(pronounced Ree-En-Dayth)

Riendaith was born to a nest of bronze Dragons far to the southeastern sea. While the home was welcoming, it is not the way of Dragons to stay for long. As a wyrmling, they made their way to the mainland of Zerith. Exploring the deserts of the Southern Sands, they found the climate too dry for their tastes. Several journeys home and back to the mainland were made, each time finding different places along the coast, but none of them quite right. Riendaith nearly claimed one nice coastal cave, but infighting broke out between the siblings, and rather than engage, they just moved on. Eventually they found a small abandoned cove, far to the northwestern tip of Zerith. Near the port town of Brolin, they found a cave with an abandoned pirate ship. While detesting the pirates, Riendaith did love the treasure. They decided quickly to make that cove their home.

The occasional pirate ship would crash on the shore, during times of storm when the tide would prove too great. Riendaith would gather the horde onto their boat, and let the others help block the cove from the storms that rolled in from the north. It worked comfortably, until the exceptionally stormy day Faelyn Cloudshaper arrived on their doorstep. While starting to square off with the halfling, a great wave crashed through the cove, displacing the ships, and the main ship that the treasure horde was on proved to be too full, and it started to sink. Riendaith was hit by a falling beam, and as they fell unconscious, knew this might be their end. When they awoke, on the shore, next to the halfling and laying on a small pile of treasure, they knew they had found someone truly special, and an unbreakable bond was formed.
