The Moonglade Forest stretches across the western tip of Zerith, a dense and enduring woodland of oak and pine that meets the sea along rugged, mist-lined shores. Though smaller in scale than the great Daelen Wood, the Moonglade is no less formidable—its thick canopy, uneven terrain, and shifting undergrowth make travel difficult for those unfamiliar with its paths. To those who know it, however, the forest reveals a quieter rhythm, one shaped by wind through the trees, the pull of the tides, and the steady turning of the moons overhead.
The forest is home to the Moonglade Elves, a people more often encountered than their distant kin, though still not easily found without purpose. Small settlements and homesteads lie scattered near the great road, or the city of Brolin at it’s western edge. Trade and travel between the two are common, and goods from the forest—game, herbs, and foraged harvests—often find their way beyond its borders.
Despite this openness, the Moonglade remains a place of quiet danger. Deeper within the woods, the land grows less forgiving, and those who stray too far without guidance may find themselves lost among shifting trails and unfamiliar terrain. Beneath the light of Zerith’s three moons, the forest takes on an almost otherworldly quality, its clearings and glades becoming sites of quiet gatherings and unseen rituals. To most, it is a place best respected at a distance—welcoming at its edges, but never fully tamed.
