Landiss:
Landiss Mages come from all schools, and act as a central agency tor the other Cabals. They can be mediators and arbiters for the groups when they disagree, or act as police force, enforcing the laws of the land and disciplining those mages who think themselves above it. The tend to operate out of Korad-Tir due to its central location in the world.
Damarian:
(Duh mar e an): Enchanters and illusionists. These wizards specialize in the unseen and animating. Whether entertaining courts or enchanting Automata, they will take pride in their work. Their academy can be found near Teralis, and is one of the larger schools in the land.
Tarin:
(Tear an): Self-proclaimed stewards and protectors of the land itself. Druids, Shamans, wizards, who can bring fair weather, or rain for crops, these selfless mages serve both people and beast of the land. They reside in various groves across the land, notable the Moonglade Forest and the Daelen Wood.
Many Stars:
diviners, oracles, and ritual casters. Shamans can also be found here, looking past the veil to commune with those lost. They look to the heavens for guidance and prophecy, acting as oracles for anyone in need or who has the coin. They do not have a central location to speak of.
Evoden:
Powerful Evokers, often recruited for war. They can turn the tide of battle with their powerful spells which include fire, cold and lightning. Their academy is small, as they do not readily accept members, and can be found outside Corvus.
Necrathillian:
Powerful necromancers, founded by a dustman from Sigil. These powerful casters are often met with distain by other factions, and thus keep to themselves and practice in secret. They do seem to have a specific gathering place, but only members of the sect seem to know it’s location.
White Lotus:
This academy, hidden in the mountains near Fort Durkon, practice quiet arts, and are known to combine magic with martial prowess.
Steps of the Rose King:
There are some disciples of the Steps of the Rose King, that have traversed from the Feywild into Zerith. While not centralized to a single location, these disciples have been found at some of the greater academies, trying to share their teaching with students there, and trying to push back the impending darkness.
Technomancers:
A relatively new faction and artisan guild intent on bringing magic to the people through items that can help them in their daily life. The goal is to allow sustainable help without a constant reliance on hiring wizards directly for spells. Currently the fledgling guild is located in Brolin.
