Session 6 - Zanzer’s Tower and The Journey South
It was here the trio met Noc and Cedris, 2 more magic users that had come to investigate the ruins of the academy. Together the quieted the constructs that patrolled the ruins, over the corpses of the downed wizards. There were several Damarian wizard corpses, burned and blackened by powerful Evocation magic which the Evoden Academy studied and taught.
Once the portal to the Academy was restored, several Damarian Wizards came through to rebuild, and several Landiss Wizards, considered to be the police force for the wizard cabals, came through to assess the assault. The overwhelming evidence pointing to the Evoden wizards was damning, though the Landiss planned to return to Korad-Tir, and send a diplomatic envoy to discuss the evidence peacefully.
The party returned to Corvus, where Drafous received a message from his second in command of the Technomancers, that he was needed in Brolin as soon as possible, due to the brewing unrest. The others, also uneasy with the climate, agreed to accompany him, and the group set out south to Summerset Cove, so that they may catch a ship to Brolin, as it would be far faster than traversing by land.
The journey to Summerset Cove was quiet, and upon arrival, they booked the next ship to Brolin which could carry them. While waiting the couple days for the ship to sail, more news came to them from the Landiss Wizards.
