Session 1 - Zanzer Tem’s Dungeon 1
The party pushed forward into the dungeon’s armory where a wide array of melee weapons lined the walls. Axel eagerly armed himself and urged the group to take only what they needed to stay mobile.
Moments later the group was attacked by a pack of Gnolls, likely stationed to guard the inner sections of the dungeon. The battle was fierce but brief, and the adventurers emerged victorious.
Moving onward, the party discovered a room stocked with missile weapons. Crossbows and bows hung neatly along the walls, and among the supplies they discovered a magical quiver that refilled itself with ammunition after combat.
Beyond the armory halls they encountered goblin slingers, who attacked from down a corridor using glue pots and sling stones to slow the party’s advance.
After defeating the Goblins the party entered a seemingly quiet room where they discovered a jeweled cask of white gold, which Axel suspiciously insisted was his family heirloom.
Continuing down the dungeon halls, the party encountered a long corridor filled with hidden pit traps. Orc BoltThrowers fired from the far end of the hallway, attempting to lure the group forward.
As the party cautiously navigated the corridor, Axel stayed behind them, urging them onward.
Shortly after bypassing the traps, the party was attacked by additional defenders, including a Zanzer Tem and several orc warriors. The wizard taunted the party, declaring that no one escaped the dungeon alive.
The party defeated the impostor wizard and pressed forward. In a sealed chamber they discovered Petra Pruz Kahoki], princess of the elves of the Daelen Wood, who had also been captured by Tem. Though unable to fight, she joined the group after revealing that the wizard they defeated was not the real Zanzer, but an illusion. The real Zanzer has a scar on his face.
The group passed through a secret door and discovered a treasure and storage room filled with adventuring gear, and sacks of gold. It was there they rested.
