Zanzer Tems Tower
Unintimidated by the wizard after their adventures so far, they stormed the tower, only to find it empty. Any guards that might have been there were absent, and Tem was not home. Exploring the tower, raiding it for supplies for their journey south to civilization, they found the corpse of a juvenile blue dragon. The poor thing had been dissected, with its blood, claws, scales and other parts obviously being used in experiments. They found little else there, and left the tower behind, heading South towards Korad-Tir.
The journey south was quiet, minus a small encounter with some Trolls. Arriving in Korad-Tir, the trio finally took some time to relax, while Petra booked a caravan east to report back to her homeland of Zanzer Tem’s betrayal, with Snivel in tow.
The peaceful days did not last long though, as reports of an attack on the Damarian Academy came in. A call went out from the Landiss wizards to adventurers who would be willing to travel to the academy, assess the situation, and restore the teleportation portal.
With promise of a hefty cash reward, the group set out the several day trek to the academy, which lied to the south near the city of Corvus. The journey was easy, pausing in Corvus to resupply, then heading west off the road to the academy.
Two things assailed their nostrils as the Damarian Academy came into view. The first was the smell of smoke, the second was the smell of death. Carefully entering the courtyard, there were constructs patrolling the academy, a tool often used by Damarian Wizards.
